SCULPTING DEMO FOR NAUGHTY DOG CHARACTER ARTISTS 2012
In February 2012, Simon did a sculpting demonstration for a group of character artists
from Naughty Dog, the company behind such hit game titles as "Uncharted" and "The Last of Us."

GIANT MONSTERS EPIC, "PACIFIC RIM"
Back in March 2011, Simon Lee joined the concept design team for Guillermo del Toro's upcoming
giant monsters epic, "Pacific Rim, " currently slated to be released in the Summer of 2013.
On July 28, 2011, Simon visited Blizzard Entertainment's campus in Irvine California and did a 2-hour Q&A and sculpting
demo session for a group of artists from cinematics.
Blizzard is the maker of such smash hit video games of "World iof Warcraft," "Starcraft," "Diablo" etc.

KAPPA FIGURE CONTEST JAPAN SPECIAL JUDGES' AWARD WINNER!
July 26, 2009: Hosted by Kaiyodo, the KAPPA FIGURE CONTEST 2009 was held on July 26, 2009 at Wonderfest Tokyo.
Simon entered the contest along with Yoshi Masataka and won a Special Judges' Award and 2nd place out of
over 360 entries! (there were two entries tied for first place). And the winning pieces will be on display permanently at
the Kaiyodo Figure Museum in Japan. Although the Spiderzero Kappa resin kit was originally sculpted solely for this contest,
on this winning, all credits go to Yoshi-san for his awesome diorama!
July 24, 2009: Simon joined Brandon Shiflett, Jarrod Shiflett, Clayburn Moore, Paul Komoda, Jordu Schell, and Barsom at the San Diego Comic-Con Sculpting Panel.
