Oh yeah baby! hosted by Kaiyodo, the KAPPA FIGURE CONTEST 2009 was held on July 26, 2009 in Japan. Simon entered the contest along with Yoshi Masataka and won a Special Judges' Award and 2nd place out of over 360 entries! (there were two entries tied for first place). And the winning pieces will be on display permanently at the Kaiyodo Figure Museum in Japan. Although the Spiderzero Kappa resin kit was originally sculpted solely for this contest, all credits go to Yoshi-san for his awesome diorama!
