ABOUT THE CHARACTER: The Kappa (河童 or the "River-Child") - a legendary creature found in Japanese folklores. A child-like humanoid creature with mythical powers that inhabits the ponds and rivers of ancient Japan, and this is my interpretation of this "mischievous little monster".
